There was a single spot,
Facing down the throat, keeping breath alive.
There was a melt down to the hands,
The wind going undone,
Half a moon just speaking low,
Down low from up above.
I was facing down this palace,
Common halts had more to say,
Than a frozen windy day
In one arm a place to be,
On the other hand a shape to keep.
It was a single lonely spot,
Saying that this was just a lot,
Too much to save at last,
Not to bother the words being said.
It was complicated, just as much as humans can be,
Sad as you might see,
Safe as the world will never be,
Going down it's a one way road,
Going up is a single look to the sky above.
Take away those fears and let it be.
Let the sun shine over me,
Let the smile break free.
No matter what, I am what I am, and I’ll come to be me.
